I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hand Hotel in Chirk, and I've got to say, it was a delightful experience! The warmth from the staff made us feel right at home, and the charming, traditional setting definitely set the tone for a lovely getaway. We indulged in dinner at the Regency-style Coach House Restaurant; I highly recommend the home-cooked fare - the steak and local ale pie was particularly scrumptious! Our room was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows that made the atmosphere feel airy and relaxing after a day of exploring. The highlight, of course, was breakfast - not only was it huge, but every bite was simply delicious, especially paired with a cup of their excellent coffee. As a dog lover, I also appreciated the focus on providing a welcoming experience for all our family members, including our furry friends. The Hand Hotel is a perfect base for any adventure, and I'm already planning my next visit!
